The clothing is inspired by the building architecture of university’s faculty, where I study and where I spend most of my time, and also of the abstract sculpture from cubes in front of it, that I can observe every day. The whole architecture of the building is rectangular and geometric, both outside and inside. Everywhere there are grey doors, grey stairs, and grey corridors with yellow lines and headlines.
During production I used techniques such as screen printing and drawing on textiles.
Garments can be attached to the canvas with velcro and become a part of an interactive installation where clothing may change their positions what allows viewers to play with it. Interactive form of installation is a way to drawn to the interconnection between our faculty and students.
